Creating appointments by typing

To create an appointment by typing: 1 Find the line for the start time of the appointment and click.  2  Type the appointment.

When you press return, a box will be created for the new appointment:

The color initially assigned to the appointment can be changed through a preference.

The same process can be used to create to-do items:  1 Find an empty line in the to-do list and click.  2  Type the to-do item.

When you press return, the item will be added to the list:

Its priority can then be changed by clicking on it and editing it.

Appointments and to-do items created in this way are not a part of the Roles & Goals hierarchy, but they can be attached later.
